Here's how the class types differ and who each one is for.
Circuit Classes
Full body endurance workout utilising all traditional & contemporary studio equipment. Pre-choreographed and tailored to individual body and skill level. Classes run on a 5-week cycle. Suitable for all levels, including pre and post natal.
Mat Classes
Pilates exercises performed on the floor using body weight as primary resistance. Props such as foam rollers, Magic Circles, Theraband, Swiss Balls and hand weights may be used. Fun and challenging, strengthens and tones the body, improves flexibility.
Pilates on the Ball
Full body dynamic class incorporating the Swiss Ball & other small props. Improves core stability, core strength, flexibility & coordination. Tones abs, arms & glutes.
Reformer/Mat Classes
Full body class combining the best from both Reformer and Matwork. Challenges fitness through dual equipment approach. One class, twice the Pilates.
Reformer Classes
Workout using the Reformer machine with spring resistance. Increases strength, flexibility and core stability. Emphasises foundational Pilates principals with modifications and variations.
Reformer & Jump Board Classes
Dynamic cardio challenge using Reformer & Jump Board. Packed with abdominal, arm & leg exercises. Unsuitable for some knee & ankle issues.
Reformer/Aerial Pilates Classes
Full body class combining Reformer strength & stability with AntiGravity® hammock spinal decompression. Builds strength, stability and flexibility.
Reformer Jump Board/Barre Classes
Dynamic full body cardio class combining Reformer with Barre. Hand weight & movement warm-up, Barre for plies & gluteals, finishing with abdominal endurance on Reformer. Great for those who love to sweat.
Barre
Fast-paced full body immersion fusing dance, Pilates & sculpting exercises at the ballet barre. Gives a chiselled body. Suitable for all levels.
Aerial Pilates
Soft trapeze workout on AntiGravity® hammocks designed to get you in shape while releasing you from the compression of gravity.
