Here's how the class types differ and who each one is for.
Beginners Yoga
Designed for those completely new to yoga, those with poor fitness, returning to exercise after a break, or recovering from illness/injury. Focuses on core connection, breath, bandhas, and joint protection. Includes breath awareness, relaxation and meditation.
Power Flow
Expands on Beginner's Yoga with Vinyasa practice, Core Yoga Poses, Pranayama, Bandhas, Mantra and Mudra, and meditation. Requires completion of 10 Beginner's Yoga classes or equivalent fitness.
Yin Yoga
Includes meditation, traditional Yin Yoga poses, and flowing movements inspired by Tai Chi. Everything is done within a comfortable range of motion at a relaxed pace. All levels welcome.
Moving into Stillness
Weekly meditation class integrating Hatha Yoga with mudra, mantra, pranayama, and bandha to facilitate movement into deep inner stillness. Runs Wednesdays 7-7:45pm.
Sound Journeys with Reiki
Monthly sound bath/meditation with Japanese temple bells, Tibetan bowls, crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, poetry and mantra. Reiki channeled by Level 2 practitioner. Special event.
