Here's how the class types differ and who each one is for.
Reformer Align
Traditional Pilates principles focusing on core strength and full body alignment. Structured, monitored environment including traditional mat exercises on the reformer. Builds foundations of a strong and stable body. Suitable for all levels including beginners.
Reformer Flow
Blends strong Pilates and conditioning moves to strengthen and lengthen. Movements in all planes of motion on the reformer bed with balance challenges to activate core and flowing strength moves to challenge entire body.
Reformer Plus
Active pace with more advanced exercises on the reformer. Higher heart rate intensity with focus on strength and larger dynamic movements. Energizing and challenging. Not suitable for beginners, clients with pre-existing conditions or prenatal clients. Mandatory to attend Align or Flow class first.
Reformer Stretch & Core
Luscious stretchy flows combined with core strengthening in all planes of motion. Focuses on movement, spinal articulation, core conditioning and full body release for body and mind. Suitable for all levels excluding prenatal clients.
Mums & Bubs Reformer Pilates
Designed for women during and after pregnancy to feel safe, supported, strong and confident. Focuses on maintaining or building strength for changes in your body during prenatal and postnatal periods. Complimentary baby bouncers and mats provided for bubs.
Prenatal Pilates
Physio-ledOne-to-one prenatal session mandatory before attending general group classes (post 12 weeks). Once completed, can attend any class excluding Reformer Plus and Reformer Stretch & Core.
Roll & Release
Signature class using rollers for full body release and strength training. Blends foam roller exercises with functional fascia training and release, focusing on full body strengthening, mobility and optimal spinal alignment. Available in-studio (Thornbury) or online.
